We are looking for an

FP&A Manager

Italy

The role is to be partner with the business and the Hub Finance Leader to support and achieve best possible business decisions via strong analysis & reporting.

What is possible?

Analysis & Reporting.

Performing revenue analysis; providing gross margin, rebate, and COGS reviews
Ensuring appropriate revenue recognition according to IFRS 15

**Variance Analysis**: Compare performance results against budgets, forecasts, and previous years, explaining the differences and proposing corrective actions
Perform rebates analysis and control over the sales and customer profitability; indicate corrective actions
Perform cost controlling and standard cost updates
Undertake the SG&A analysis and review of KPIs
Evaluate whether the company’s current assets and investments are the best use of the company’s excess working capital. Assess factoring possibilities and promote reduction on NWC by holding an action plan for the country.
Regular review and estimate of business Risks & Opportunities to control YE landing
Financial support to commercial teams in achieving company targets
Liaising with Supply chain and demand planning to early identify risks of product availabilities

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

Ensure exhaustive review of the financial forecast by working with individual departments to prepare the budget and the financial forecasts of the company’s operations
Ensure forecast accuracy and initiate corrective actions if needed

Ensure the local books are compliant with local regulations and with IFRS. Perform in coordination with the Central Accounting Team the necessary accounting duties. Evaluate and assess compliance and financial risks:
Ensure adherence to financial laws, guidelines and ensure compliance with internal financial processes, systems, and policies

Responsible for the performance and outcomes of the local Audits (internal & external)
Review the outputs of the accounting statements, providing an oversight on tax, internal controls and audit related matters
Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and acting to prevent problems
Undertake transfer pricing reconciliations

Liaise and work with the Central Accounting Team (CAT) in Hungary and SSC for all IFRS matters

Sign off the MEC for local entity and BSR reconciliation
Advise on non
- recurring journals to be undertaken by the CAT/SSC
Highlight improvements and simplifications

Supervise and coordinate with third party providers the statutory compliance of Nufarm entity

Credit management, reviewing and approving customer risk profiles, unblock orders

Participate and/or lead any other financial analysis or tasks that may come for the relevant country, the Hub North/South or the finance department

**Other responsibilities**:
Local Audit / Tax / Compliancy (Financial statements, Tax preparations, Transfer Pricing documentation, supervise VAT filing)
Management of credit institutions reports
Convene the BoD representatives and the Board of Auditors by respecting local laws and regulations, this includes the preparation of the agenda, minutes of the meeting and registering the minutes in a legal book.
Manage relationship to Board of Auditors and Supervisory body - coordination with external consultant
Visit of main customers
Authorizing bank payments
Approving invoices

What do you bring?

Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Finance/ Controlling/ Accounting or equivalent (a Chartered Accountant Certification would be an advantage)

At least 5 years of professional experience (AP/AR/GL fields) in an industrial/manufacturing or SSC environment

Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS)

Knowledge and experience of relevant accounting and reporting software (preferably Oracle, EPM). Excellent MS Office skills (especially in Excel)

Fluency in Italian and English
