Role Overview

**We are looking for**:
As a **Health, Safety & Environment Specialist**, reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be based at the Solvay Bollate (Italy) research and investigation facility. You will provide engineering support to the site, to ensure the air, land, and water quality are ideal, as well as waste management and environmental programs.

**We count on you for**:

- Follow regulatory updates and suggest applicability to the business context, as well as review and implementation;
- Manage the electronic database;
- Be acquainted with the Italian Health, Safety, and Environment compliance audits;
- Communicate and follow up on any environmental concerns, incidents, near misses, or opportunities for improvement using.

- This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing HSE-Environment Regulations family. You will develop tasks related to environmental programs that may include monitoring, data collection, report writing, data calculations and interpretation, regulation review and implementation. This is an opportunity for improvement using the appropriate company process.

**You will bring**:

- Engineering Degree: Chemical or Environmental; Environmental Sciences; Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in environmental topics, generating SOPs and procedures
- Deep knowledge of ISO 14001 and D.lgs 152/2006
- Industry experience preferred (D.Lgs 105/15)
- Seniority in waste management
- Good interpersonal skills, including the verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with internal customers
- Ability to analyze information, both written and verbal
- Ability to organize required job activities and to work in a team
- Proactivity and empathy
- Work product generated must be accurate and timely as required
- Languages: Italian and English
