Based in Milan, Corso Venezia, in an international setup we are looking for a **Retail Development Intern M/W.**
**The role**:
The Retail Development Intern will support the Global Retail Development Director in the development and in the maintenance of the stores monitoring technical/time/cost/quality control phases. He/She works closely with corporate and regional teams (Retail, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Visual Merchandising, IT, Wholesale, etc) to ensure the correct development of all aspects of the store projects which also include Procurement, Admin, Logistic. In the development of projects we range across the following areas:Construction Project Management, Real Estate Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, Operations, Sourcing and Fulfillment, etc.
**Main responsabilities**:
- Collect and schematize start-up information from corporate and local parties to prepare feasibility studies and documents to evaluate locations & projects
- Check and catalogue location drawings, offers, project reports, certifications, maintenance reports
- Prepare guidelines and all other necessary commercial, operational or technical information for store teams
- Manage all Direct Vendors orders (from orders confirmation to the delivery of the same)
- Supporting all the operations activities linked to new stores' opening/refurbishment/relocation
- Coordination with all the relevant departments involved in operations project
- Compilation of supplier forms, checking and cataloging of invoices & budget allocation, verification of payments
- Organizing of trips, transfers, meetings and checking calendars, preparing meeting reports
**Profile**:
- Fluent in Italian and English (French is considered a plus)
- Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
- Analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude
- Multitasking, able to quickly shift from design creativity to admin/management
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, self-motivated and feel comfortable with ambiguity
- Well-developed emotional intelligence and common sense, strong work ethics and ability to prioritize duties
