**Purpose**
- Become an integral part of our innovative operations team at BVI®. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing designated site manufacturing operations and related support functions. From EH&S to production planning, your strategic leadership will ensure site performance excellence across EH&S, Quality, Delivery/Service, Cost, and Employee Engagement. Join us in driving operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

- **Key Responsibilities**
- ** Strategic Planning**:Develop and implement strategic plans for efficient and cost-effective site manufacturing, encompassing logistics and related operations, manage budgets for logistics and related operations.
- ** Leadership**: Ensure the team comprises fully qualified staff at all levels, fostering seamless teamwork across departments to achieve both company and departmental objectives. Direct multiple production shift operations.
- ** Quality Management**:Provide unwavering support for the company's Quality Management System, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and quality requirements. This includes ISO 13485, GMP, FDA, and safety standards. Ensure compliance with local laws.
- ** Continuous Improvement**:Identify areas for process modifications that positively impact cost reduction and increased profitability. Implement comprehensive metrics for continuous monitoring and performance tracking. Spearhead improvements in efficiency, on-time delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- ** Production Planning**:Establish production schedules and manpower planning based on product requirements and material supply. Regularly review production, inventory, equipment capacity, and utilization.
- ** Supplier Relations**:Actively engage with key suppliers, effectively communicating the company's needs, and cultivating mutually beneficial relationships.
- ** New Product Introduction**:Participate in product manufacturing transfer and New Product Introduction initiatives.
- ** Risk Management**:Oversee the site risk registry, ensuring comprehensive measures for business continuity and promptly addressing troubleshooting of manufacturing-related issues.
- ** Site Performance**:Focus on EH&S, Quality, Delivery/Service, Cost, and Employee Engagement metrics.
- ** ERP Utilization**:Harness the full capabilities of the ERP system to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline processes.
- ** Collaboration**:Foster global relationships by collaborating with leaders across Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing, R&D, and Quality.

**Qualification**
- Fluent in Italian and English
- BS in science/engineering; MBA preferred
- 10 years of cGMP Manufacturing experience or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to develop business, operational, and fi nancial strategies that align with organizational objectives
- Profi cient in Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Kaizen
- Advanced PC and MS Offi ce skills
- Strong management, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Available for occasional international travel (capacity to travel freely within the EU/US without requiring visa sponsorship)
