Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Head of IT – Italy role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: Establish a single point of contact and accountability in IT for Market LT and Key Business stakeholders, related IT Marketing and Commercial Operations initiatives, leading exciting and strategic Digital, Innovation and Commercial Operations initiatives and IT projects for specific countries. Represent IT on the country leadership team Understands Marketing and Commercial Customers operational needs and strategic direction (Regional and Local), priorities and objectives Ensures that all customer expectations are met through delivery of services or projects; through collaborative efforts, allowing clients to achieve their goals. Manages and sets stakeholder expectations. Works closely and builds strong working relationships with Market Management Team Leads supporting functions, and Marketing and Commercial Operations support teams, and other enabling and supporting platforms. Identifies opportunities where technology can build competitive advantage, internal efficiencies and provides game-changing innovation, and new ways to achieve business needs. Works with service providers and customers to deliver solutions/projects effectively and efficiently. Analyzes business requests to determine how best to support creation of a successful solution, and makes sure these are translated into high value technology solutions, process improvement and optimization. Collaborates with other IT Groups, Global Cluster Lead and Global Technology Leadership to develop and execute technology strategy, and resolve country-related technology issues. Along with the market IT team, and in collaboration with business stakeholders, makes sure the business case is prepared for all IT investments and gets corresponding approval, ensuring managing new requirements and scope changes, according to IT governance. Drives Design, development, and delivery of Digital projects and technology solutions to support the achievement of Marketing and Commercial Operational needs, supporting strategic decision-making, business goals and specific agreed requirements, ensuring customer expectations and needs are met. Ensures business unit sponsorship endorsement and agreements from SMEs on all initiatives. Manages and sets stakeholder expectations, and ensures business unit sponsorship endorsement and agreements from corresponding SMEs The minimum qualifications for this role are: Extensive management experience demonstrated through multiple successful assignments leading teams, developing strategies, and executing programs/projects Similar level demonstrating sustained success partnering/guiding clients at Executive levels Domain knowledge gained in supporting Sales and Marketing operations for specific projects/assignments preferred but not essential Strong ability to engage team members and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget Strong customer relationship skills Proven ability to manage financial goals, both in own area and in support of a larger entity Proven ability to build strong teams; recruit top talent and develop colleagues of all levels Line management of one or more colleagues across multiple countries At Viatris, we offer competitive salaries, benefits and an inclusive environment where you can use your experiences, perspectives and skills to help make an impact on the lives of others.
