**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
This position is an integral part of the Venues & Infrastructure (VNI) functional area and will manage a team to design and deliver the temporary infrastructures for a cluster of venues in line with the agreed milestones, project plans and budgets reporting to the Senior manager/Venue Design Lead.

In particular, he/she will:

- Preparate of MC26 overlay design information required for the procurement of temporary infrastructure, as well as scheduling / planning coordination, site delivery / safety purposes;
- Contribute to the establishment and communication of overlay delivery processes, including change management, to MC26 suppliers and stakeholders;
- Manage the setup and production of design and overlay related documents through the appropriate softwares;
- Manage overlay design and delivery for a cluster of competition and non-competition venues;
- Develop and report on design work and delivery of overlay projects across a cluster of venues;
- Coordinate the cluster design and delivery team;
- Support and manage the ongoing relationships with service providers to ensure efficient and effective delivery;
- Ensure a high standard of relationship with all internal functions, stakeholders and contractors and the like;
- Manage cross functional relationships to ensure effective communication and coordination;
- Have knowledge of the budget implications of any proposed design solutions and be aware of budget constraints and design to a budget;
- Share ideas and information with the team and contribute to the team environment;
- Be aware and comply with the Corporation’s health and safety policies, standards practices and program.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management;
- Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage;
- IT-experienced, professional use of CAD/BIM softwares, knowledge of usual office softwares;
- Availability to travel among the north of Italy;
- Proven experience as Manager role in a construction / engineering environmento with experience in procurement, delivery and site management;
- Knowledge in the design of sporting venues and temporary infrastructures for major sport events;
- Leadership abilities with experience in managing and leading teams;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders;
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure, adapting to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges.
