**What we are looking for**:
Franke has embarked on a global transformation program with the objective to align processes and ways of working across the whole organization, particularly procurement. To reach our ambitious targets and guarantee the highest quality in our markets, we are currently looking for a Procurement Category Manager.

The Procurement Category Manager oversees developing a strategy for the assigned commodity across all divisions and all geographies of Franke organization. This will include the optimization with the Product Marketing, R&D and with technical teams of the current products portfolio. In addition to category management, you will have a pivotal role in the implementation of the procurement tools and processes.

You will act as a change agent for his procurement colleagues and more globally all stakeholders interacting with procurement. This role is based in Peschiera del Garda or Fabriano, Italy and reports to the Head of Procurement Direct Categories, based in Peschiera.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Main Tasks**:

- Develop and implement medium and long-term sourcing strategies in collaboration with CMO, R&D and Operations to ensure best TCO and security of supply for Franke
- Communicate strategy to the organization to support implementation
- Contract management
- Lead the relationship with suppliers in coordination with other functions or Stakeholders
- Continuous monitoring of market trends and conditions
- Driving, monitoring, and tracking of cost savings and/or impacts and the overall category performance
- Support various procurement transformation projects and/or workstreams particularly from a category perspective and aimed at driving change management
- Supporting activities to implement the Procurement Operating Model and identified procurement ways of working and capabilities

**Supplier relationship and portfolio management**
- Lead negotiations on a group level
- Target lowest global costs and highest value for Franke globally
- Manage relationship with strategic suppliers
- Actively manage the portfolio in order to benefit from a group approach
- Guarantee supply availability

**Project management**
- Continuously analyse the supply market to identify new opportunities
- Align with all relevant business functions in achieving strategic company targets
- Secure sharing of information and support for the local organisations and business units
- Supporting procurement digitalization and process improvements to simplify and automate the sourcing, contracting and buying processes

**Continuous improvement of value and quality**
- Implement, support and ensure the use of relevant strategic sourcing processes across the group
- Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
- Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders in order to drive the overall strategy
- Supporting the implementation of the Procurement Policy and the overall agenda for procurement governance, risk management and compliance, and also ensure that processes deployed are aligned with the Procurement Policy
- Drive continuous improvement from suppliers on service level, quality, TCO and innovation

**Leadership**
- Foster teamwork internally as well as with external partners
- Link with local and central teams to insure best results for all parties
- Lead with a strong support of product management team the supplier relationship
- Connect with division buyers to insure proper coordination around projects and daily business
- Act as a change agent of the procurement transformation inside and outside of the procurement community

**Your Requirements**:

- Post Graduate education commercial and/or technical education
- ERP background - SAP preferred but not mandatory
- 3-5 years of procurement experience - ideally in the raw materials / appliances category
- Experience in a global Matrix environment
- Participation to an implementation of a procurement platform
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel internationally
- Ability to work with uncertainties
