**General Description of the Role**

The Demand Planner role assumes full business process ownership of Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning providing governance of process and system, ensuring overall compliance with the global planning cycle and monthly activities.

The Demand Planner is responsible to guarantee regional view data integrity & aggregation to provide the volume forecast outlook and support the Managing Director and management teams in decision making process. This role also is the key business reference between the SC Planning HUB to drive & coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across the countries and facilitate operational activities such as setting inventory policies and reviewing demand & supply performance.

**Key Responsibilities and activities**
- Educating and developing best practice of forecast sharing and depletetions tracking with the distrubtors. Working alongside the Sales teams to ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.
- S&OP champion to drive the change management and continuous improvement to achieve the S&OP vision, objectives and desired benefits.
- Process owner for forecast accuracy KPI to ensure definition and measurement is fully embedded in each country and carry out analysis & reporting. Consolidate input for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Champion for the SAP-APO demand planning system ensuring that the system is deployed and fully utilized. Responsible to execute proper APO DP system settings and master data per each country and manage system maintenance and APO DP ticket management.
- Conduct ongoing training both process and system to key users in Sales, Marketing, FP&A, distrubtors to ensure full understanding of S&OP and the planning activities are performed in the correct manner.
- Ensure full deployment & usage of BW reports & KPIs across the countries and consolidate, analyse for management teams.
- Carry out assessment and coordinate Demand planning changes resulting from new brand acquisitions/ integrations of new key customer/ distributors or changes in supply network

**MONTHLY S&OP PROCESS - Activities**

**FORECAST GENERATION**
- Support Sales in the leadup to forecasting enrichement, ensuring that the APO planning book has the right SKU’s, through realignment and mapping. Generates a 24 month forecast based on previous forecast cycle inputs for Sales to review.

**FORECAST ENRICHMENT**
- Coordinates Sales and Marketing Users to enrich the forecast proposals in accordance with Brand / SKU planning levels and complete the rolling 24 month planning horizon in the APO system
- Proactively communicate with marketing on new product development (Innovation & Fast Track) to keep abreast of all NPD and promotion plans. Include new “Phase In” Skus in the monthly Planning Cycle briefs to Sales, Marketing & Finance to capture volume forecast in APO system as early as possible

**FORECAST REVIEW**
- Review the Consensus Forecast consolidation, check gaps & exceptions with Sales & Marketing versus previous cycle and budget.
- Coordinate with FP&A to convert the Sales Forecast
