Location/Division-Specific Information
The Sales Representative within Unity Lab Services, which unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative nature, and rich resources to deliver services for chromatography and molecular scientific equipment that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals - quickly, reliably, and safely. Our service solutions make it easier for customers to focus on what matters most - delivering answers and innovations that save and improve lives.
**How will you make an impact?**
What you will do:
- Meet and exceed assigned geographic territory forecast by passionately pursuing sales opportunities for non-contracted services and optimally establishing strong business relationships with our current and future customer base
- Identify, develop and build a network with customers and cross-divisional partners to promote our repair and contract services
- Seek out new business opportunities to grow the sales pipeline and convert them into new service sales
- Continually promote Thermo Fisher Scientific’s breadth of service portfolio offerings on all sales calls to achieve maximum customer solution opportunities
- Participate in all assigned strategic sales plays and focused account initiatives
- Show creativity to develop sales plays to drive growth for repair service sales
- Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree; with an emphasis in Sciences is desired
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in medical device or laboratory, industry, and/or academic environment
- Experience selling through multiple partners including direct sales and marketing is desired
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Must have an outstanding understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse medical and scientific products and services
- Outstanding analytical capability and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, independent self-starter
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities
- Evidence of professional presentation skills
- Outstanding follow-up and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to accomplish assigned goals within the assigned geographic territory and occasionally within Europe
- Language skills: Fluent in English, and Italian.
