**Join us as a Credit Sales Graduate**:
This is a regulated, client facing role in which you’ll be responsible for supporting our European Flow Credit team and Leveraged team in the sale of corporate bonds, and building relationships with financial institutions.

You’ll play a key role in developing the business for the Capital Market platform, delivering insightful feedback and insights, and helping the secondary Credit Trading desk distribute its risk.

You’ll enjoy significant stakeholder interaction as well as the opportunity to develop your skills in an exciting environment.

What you'll do

We’ll look to you to market investment grade and high yield products to European financial institutions while promoting the NatWest franchise. The main aspect of your role will be to trade credit cash bonds with our trading desk based in London and collaborate regarding new bond issuances with our European syndicate and Debt Capital Markets teams based in London and elsewhere in Europe.

Over the course of this programme, you can expect to:

- Develop relationships with institutional clients in Europe.
- Deliver our Markets platform in Credit to our clients in Europe and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure efficient and smooth functioning of the flow business in bonds and derivatives.
- Generate ideas to clients.
- Rely on our Economics and Strategy Research to deliver content and insights.
- Work in partnership with business partners (traders, strategist, colleagues in capital markets etc) to deliver best in class service to clients.
- Maintain close contact with the international network and leverage on our global footprint to ensure prompt and appropriate responses to client queries.
- Liaise with support functions in order to ensure smooth functioning of pre and post trade.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams in order to ensure full compliance with procedures and regulations.

**Entry requirements**:
To be eligible for our NatWest Markets graduate programme in Milan, you’ll need:

- To have, or be on course to achieving a degree classification of at least 100 points
- Fluency in English, Italian and ideally another language
- A proven interest in finance and capital markets
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical skills
- A strong customer focus
