**Senior Planner**:
As a Senior Planner at ASM, you will work closely with our worldwide suppliers and customers, it is a key coordinating role in supply chain planning. You will work closely with ASM and LPE’s supply chain team to monitor the stock of our materials, to contact the suppliers and focus on the kits that ASM requests. This is a role where you will be working in a close team. Here are some more details on the day-to-day responsibilities:
Manage customer service materials planning to minimize downtime, zero bin, and maximize inventory turns:
1. Verify and ensure accuracy of stocking levels
2. Request and recommend adds/subtractions from sites’ BOMs
3. Engage and maintain daily communication with stakeholders to ensure proper planning
4. Facilitate and chair BOMs meeting on a regular basis

Participate BOM reviews (on request)
1. Active participation to gain visibility current issues and/or upcoming changes that are being discussed/made
2. Ensure sites’ BOMs and inventory level are properly adjusted
3. Ensure any stocking level adjustments that may be required are addressed
4. Support “safety first” culture throughout all functions performed
5. Support ASM / Customer Quality initiative
- Collaborate with Global Buyers to solicit and to align regional forecasts. Ensure ASM has adequate planning time to adjust spare stocking level to support sites’ forecast
- Generate and provide weekly/monthly reports for customer performance metrics

1. Review all parts consumption including FOI and/or DOA to ensure parts are properly disposition. May require interaction/research with end users

Inventory management (Components, spares, parts)

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years in related field); College courses in industrial engineering, supply chain, and business administration preferred.
- Spares planning and/or production control is a plus
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, spares logistics and inventory control theories with prior experience related to semiconductor, medical or related high-volume customers are desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership in projects and associated skills in process improvement.
- SAP and Navision experience preferred
- Excellent skills in MS office with specific high level proficiency required in Excel (Pivot Table & Macro)
- Ability to review, analyze data and generate recommendations dealing how to optimize spares performance
- Understanding of customer service processes; both inventory and billing
- Ability to confront and drive solutions in difficult customer situation.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ideally also Italian
