**Designer Production Specialist - DTO Service**:

As a Designer Production Specialist Service division, you will drive improvements in production of ELSE Service Division in Electrification Business Area, in Dalmine. Your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process of Retrofit Circuit Breakers and OneFit MV, through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**This position reports to**:
Service Project Management Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications, accordingly with Industrialization Service.
- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.
- For MV Retroft Circuit Breakers and OneFit MV solutions, providing site surveys when strictly needed and/or carry on the prototype measurements detection and consequently realizing the 3D model design project, then coordinating the external stakeholders to get all the detailed construction drawings and BOMs.
- Completing the documents release by ABB common R&D tools and update the progress boards for retrofit types. When required by the project, coordinating the execution of type tests on a new retrofit solution.

**Your background**:

- Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Diploma with relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in design.
- Mechanical skills (R&D style), Solidworks, Autocad, knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Preferable mínimal knowledge of Inventor and mastery of electrical and schemes knowledge.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel (15% of working time) to make tc measurements especially in Italy.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills will complete your profile.
