Local Unit & Position Description:
In line with DNV’s position as a trusted voice to tackle global transformations, the DNV Supply Chain and Product Assurance division’s ambition is to shape the future of assurance through innovating, developing and growing assurance services in Digital, Supply Chain Management, Medical Technology & Healthcare, Product Assurance, and Assurance activities.

The Italy Sales Manager will orchestrate the Italian sales efforts working closely with the country team to engage with customers and relevant internal and external stakeholders. Working with a consultative-selling approach addressed at senior level within client organisations, you will work to engage a set of key customers to prospect, generate and close sales opportunities.

Working across the organisation in Italy, you will utilise your strong domain knowledge and your accomplished sales acumen, to manage and inspire the Italian sales community and Leadership team to continuously look at innovative ways to develop business and enhance our solution offering. Our focus going forward is Growth, and you will form a key part of this journey. Your core area of focus will be across targeted verticals in particular the Supply Chain Management and Assurance, Product Assurance Industrial, Medical Technology & Healthcare sectors.

You will have the responsibility and opportunity to engage with many of the world’s leading brands across a variety of sectors, to scope, sell and deliver an abundance of innovative digital, sustainability, supply chain and assurance solutions.

Reporting to the Area Manager, Southern and Central Europe you will form a key part of the Area Leadership Team.

**Tasks include**:

- Identifying and develop new business opportunities. Playing a direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships
- Delivering accurate business metrics, monthly and quarterly forecasts and pipeline development reports, for Italy
- Achieving/exceeding your annual sales targets and plan
- Supporting Italy in achieving/exceeding its annual sales targets and plan
- Championing a consultative sales approach and inspiring, influencing and motivating our Italian sales community and Leadership team
- Working collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organisation to help shape DNV’s products and solutions to meet customer needs
- Driving thought leadership by engaging with key industry influencers
- Building and managing co-selling partnerships to drive our sales funnel.

Position Qualifications:
**Demonstrated track record in the following areas**:

- 5 to 10 years of sales experience in digital, sustainability, supply chain and/or assurance solutions
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to operate in a growth environment, dealing with ambiguity and orchestrating teams in multiple locations
- Capacity to understand, articulate and position the value of an assurance-based solution to the customer
- Relationship building excellence both externally and internally. Gravitas to build confidence with customers at senior level
- Full cycle sales skills from identifying opportunities and building pipeline, to solutioning and closing skills
- Passion for sustainability/ESG related topics. Strong interest in digital technologies related to trust, transparency and the digital transformation of supply chains is preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel both locally and internationally
- A commitment to DNV’s leadership expectations, including results orientation, customer focus, respect, care, and foresight.

**Competency Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate professional experience required; higher-level education (Master’s) preferred
- Global mindset - ability to engage with teams based throughout the world
