**YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT**

As **External Production Manager**, and part of the External Production Department, you will be responsible for the timely follow up of the performance of the manufacturers assigned. You will directly report to the External Production Director.

This experience will enable you to collaborate with the entrepreneurs and owner of our external manufacturers but also with all the internal functions (planning, procurement, industrialization, quality, warehouse, finance departments).

You will have the opportunity to build up knowledge on business processes on luxurious goods working in increasingly challenging and international environment and on engaging projects.

**YOUR IMPACT**
- Ensure the expansion and evolution of some external manufacturers, leading the project of business growth of our main partners, supporting the owners of external companies in terms of:

- buildings realization, monitoring timing and costs
- set-up right organizations, identifying and sharing with the owner the key roles to be hired
- design the more appropriate production processes, flows and layout
- Ensure productivity, quality, efficiency through a timely follow up of the main indicators, involving internal business functions to support the activities with our external manufacturers
- Implement the adjustment of production capacity through the implementation of headcount growth/decrease plans.
- Implement recovery plans in case of failure to reach the target; propose extraordinary interventions or the support of technical bodies in case of problems etc.
- Definition, discussion, and negotiation of the production costs of each item with manufacturers ensuring the achievement of budget targets.
- Maintain a strong focus on reducing raw material waste and processing: cancellations, VAP, DIST and Extra defined in the Budget.
- Ensure compliance with social compliance standards and production standards through audits of production processes.
- Drive the change to reach the target on HSE, CSR, Ergonomics.
- Participate every six months at the business reviews of the assigned manufacturers, supervising performance indicators and assigning appropriate improvement targets, stimulating the external suppliers to effectively pursue the objectives.

PROFILE

**KEYS FOR SUCCESS**

**Education**:

- Master’s degree in Economy or Engineering or equivalent experience in Industrial Companies

**Experience**:

- Position requires minimum 8-10 years of experience in Production field
- Previous experience as Project Manager
- Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus

**Competencies**:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment
- Deep knowledge of Production, efficiency, quality and productivity KPI’s
- Cooperative with good teamwork and solid communication skills
- Good capabilities on Problem Solving
- Advanced user of IT tools (Excel and management systems)
- Willingness to frequent daily trips

**Languages**: Fluent in Italian and English, additional languages are a plus
