Groups Specialist

Within our **Mice & Groups Italy Team**, (Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions tourism) you'll have the opportunity to enhance our guests' experience by engaging with stakeholders in the Italian market.

**How you’ll live your ambition**:
From our offices in Genoa, as a **Groups Specialist**, you'll be a key contributor to our** M&G Team**. In this role, you will be able to enhance your scheduling aptitude, since you will work closely with travel agencies and also with direct customers involved in managing the different groups (companies, associations, students) taking part in the cruises.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to interact with Business Partners, Area Managers, Revenue Management, Inventory Control, Tour Operations, Credit Department, Ticketing, Destination dpt, Special Services, Board and Customer Service for the definition of groups and resolution of any special need.

- You will represent our brand as you will be the point of contact for travel agencies collaborating with us.
- A collaborative and problem-solving orientation comes naturally to you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze any important concern, collaborating with our group's team to set up a guideline for optimizing work activities, involving the use of internally shared tools and files.

- You will oversee the day-to-day operations for our guest groups, including all associated activities, from the time they embark on their unforgettable experience until the end.
- In a highly collaborative team and in contact with numerous stakeholders, you will have the chance to engage with several internal departments to handle any special needs.
- You will be responsible for continuously monitoring and controlling the situation of the group and its portfolio.
- With your experience, you will support the M&G Team in managing groups of all types for their territorial areas, from booking cabins to managing ancillary services such as excursions, special services, transfers, onboard activities, etc.

- Your fresh perspective will be welcomed in participating in ongoing Monitoring and carring out constant checks on the group situation of its portfolio

**What makes you unique**
- You hold a bachelor's degree or at least a diploma.
- You have a previous experience in MICE & Groups, Customer Care and/or Sales preferred
- You have a good knowledge of the MS Office package.
- Your business acumen allows you to carefully read the context and manage all stakeholders productively.
- Effective communication skills and capability to grasp the other’s needs are essential for achievement of goals in your professional daily life.
- You have initiative and proactivity; the team can rely on your problem-solving skills and autonomy.
- You have, at least, a B1 english’s level.
- As a global citizen, you value diversity and are open-minded.
- Your natural talent for teamwork motivates others to offer their fullest.
