For the this season, we are looking for an Commis de Rang to join the team at DaV Mare, Belmond’s unique collaboration with the Cerea family. This harbourside restaurant offers big Ligurian flavours, gastronomic excellence and outstanding service from breakfast through to dinner.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Fulfil the operations of the Food & Beverage outlets according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures. He/she will:

- Take care of the mise en place
- Support the Chef de Rang with service
- Clean and set-up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service
- Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate Guests’ needs

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in Italian and basic level of English
- Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred
- Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships
- Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally
- References

Other requirements:

- Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally).
- Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Manage own emotions in challenging situations.
- Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things.
- Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player. Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback.
