Barilla is looking for a talented student/new graduate for a 6-months internship opportunity within our Strategy team, based in our Headquarter in Parma (Italy).
The internship will provide you with the opportunity to learn about key processes, operating within a very fast-paced environment and get hands-on experience on business life-cycle activities.

As an active member of the Global Process Development Meal Solutions team, this experience will also give you the opportunity to develop your talent in a professional and multicultural working environment of a global company, where you will gain valuable insights, skills and competencies that will help you build your expertise.
For students, the internship can also represent the opportunity to develop a project that could be the topic of final dissertation.

**Internship Objectives**
- Design, installation and testing of special machines to support innovation across all the categories of the Company, from Bakery to Pasta, from Crispbread to Sauces.
- Collection of production and technical needs, identification of technical solutions and specifications.
- Preparation of documents for the execution.
- The intern will support the upgrade of the 3D Pasta printing project, collaborating with the team on improvement activities to increase the productivity of the line.
- Most of the activities will be carried out in the pilot plant, in close relationship with colleagues of Product and Process development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- International experience / Studies abroad will be considered a plus.
- Intellectual curiosity, flexibility and open-minded approach.
- Very good interpersonal skills, communication and team work attitude.
- Internal customer orientation, proactivity, problem-solving, drive for results.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and to prioritize multiple tasks, respecting deadlines.
- Accuracy and analytical skills.
- Highest standard of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Fluent English and Italian.
- Good MS Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
- A good knowledge of Autocad will be considered a plus.
