We are looking for a

DIRECT BUYER

to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this position, you will combine day-to-day execution with strategic category management. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing a strategic approach for your categories, engaging closely with key internal stakeholders.
Ensuring effective execution of daily purchasing activities and implementation of the category strategy.
Monitoring market trends to identify opportunities and lead cost-saving initiatives from concept to roll-out.
Sourcing, evaluating and qualifying new suppliers that meet Company standards for cost, quality, service and reliability.
Negotiating and managing contracts and framework agreements independently.
Supporting the Procurement & Supply Chain Office in identifying improvement opportunities and coordinating sourcing projects.
Managing and optimizing the assigned budget while contributing to Total Cost Ownership improvements.
Analyzing costs, performance and KPIs and recommending actions for improvement.
Acting as a key point of contact and promoting collaboration across departments, especially Engineering, Sales and Warehouse.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A proactive, analytical and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You bring:

A degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline.
Experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment and familiar with Lean principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured working approach.
Ability to read technical drawings and perform cost analysis.
Knowledge of supply chain management and Lean procurement methods.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
A team mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions.
A continuous-improvement mindset and a strong desire to make a tangible impact.
Fluency in English.
