Overview

Come join our team A food runner helps create a warm and friendly environment while delivering food to guests at the table. Helps servers prepare for each course by clearing unused/dirty dishes and bringing new silverware/plates to table. Is responsible for communicating with the kitchen about orders and order changes.
Responsibilities

Running food in a timely and professional manner
Treating guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
Helping servers get ready for each new course
Observing tables and keeping track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
Cleaning and organizing expo station
Help prepare go orders, if applicable
Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests)
Must be able to read, write, and determine wait time based on Company’s procedures
Must visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to wash hands and answer phones. The employee will occasionally encounter hazards, including slipping and tripping. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
