Rail Fleet Manager

The role

- Manage the delivery, redelivery, and operation of a locomotive fleet.
- Provide technical support and ensure high-quality service for customers.
- Monitor fleet performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support accident repairs, heavy maintenance, and contract management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with European and national regulations.
- Guarantee safe operation of the locomotives.

Requirements

- Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in the rail industry.
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Fluent in Italian, German, and English.
- Position can be based remotely within Northern Italy, Southern Germany, or Tyrol (Austria), with regular travels.

Rail Fleet Manager

Die Rolle

- Verwaltung der Lieferung, Rücklieferung und des Betriebs einer Lokomotivflotte.
- Technischer Support und Sicherstellung eines hochwertigen Kundenservices.
- Überwachung der Flottenleistung und Identifikation von Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten.
- Unterstützung bei Unfallreparaturen, schweren Wartungsarbeiten und Vertragsmanagement.
- Zusammenarbeit mit internen Abteilungen für reibungslose Abläufe.
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung europäischer und nationaler Vorschriften.
- Gewährleistung des sicheren Betriebs der Lokomotiven.

Anforderungen

- Abschluss in Maschinenbau oder Elektrotechnik oder gleichwertige Erfahrung.
- Mindestens fünf Jahre Erfahrung in der Bahnindustrie.
- Fähigkeit, starke Beziehungen zu Kollegen, Kunden und Lieferanten aufzubauen.
- Fließend in Italienisch, Deutsch und Englisch.
- Die Position kann remote innerhalb von Norditalien, Süddeutschland oder Tirol (Österreich) ausgeübt werden, mit regelmäßigen Reisen.
