Business Controller
We are looking for a Business Controller, reporting to the Finance, Control & Accounting Director.
Main responsibilities:
1. Sales and margin analysis
2. Support and coordination of month end accruals
3. Preparation of periodic financial reports (P&L, BS)
4. Report and analysis by category & channel
5. Inventory data analysis, month end postings, monitoring end of season distressed inventory and devaluation risk
6. Elaboration of actual cost variance vs budget and forecast by cost center and department
7. Ad-hoc analyses, concepts, presentations in order to support Top Management decisions
8. Management of cross functional projects to improve profitability
9. Relationship with third parties (external consultants and auditors)
10. Capex reporting
Required qualifications:
1. Economics degree required
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting roles
3. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
4. Analytical mindset with a very good attention to details
5. Integrity, confidentiality and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
6. Proactive team player
7. Highly organized and flexible to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks
8. Fluent in Italian and English
