Our client is an international industrial group, specialized in the design and supply of advanced engineered solutions for heavy industries. The company serves sectors such as foundries, steel mills, die casting, primary metals, energy plants and waste-to-energy facilities, combining technological innovation with tailored project execution.
The role
The International Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing business opportunities in the LATAM region. The role involves direct management of key accounts, development of new customers, and coordination of local agents, distributors, and commercial partners. Frequent travel across the region will be required to ensure strong client engagement and a consistent commercial presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities in LATAM across industrial sectors including foundries, steel, die casting, primary metals, and energy/waste-to-energy plants.
- Manage key account relationships, building long-term partnerships and securing business growth.
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver customized technical and commercial solutions.
- Meet assigned sales and profitability targets, contributing to the group’s growth in the region.
- Identify, appoint, and manage local agents, distributors, and partners, monitoring performance and market alignment.
- Collect and provide updated market intelligence to headquarters.
Requirments
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines.
- 5–7 years of proven sales experience in international industrial B2B markets (metallurgy, energy, or similar).
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness and availability to travel extensively across LATAM.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with ability to coordinate networks of agents and distributors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, cultural adaptability, and ability to operate effectively in international environments.
