Air and Care Franchise
Within the three Business Units (Discover more here ), Air and Care Franchises are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development Team - focused on delivering innovation and programs leadership accountabilities in close collaboration with R&D, Commercial Portfolio Management Team - focused on maximizing the benefit for the patients and the full potential of marketed / close-to-launch assets, including Life Cycle Management strategies.
Air and Care Franchises are also supported by the Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Business Excellence & Customer Experience Global functions.

Within these departments, you will actively support the Air and Care Franchises businesses. These units are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of: Pipeline Development and Commercial Portfolio Management.

Purpose
Reporting to the Vice President Pipeline Development AIR, the Launch Excellence Lead AIR will create, refine and manage cross-functional processes and tools to enable industry and class leading launches for Phase 3 assets and new indications, with Chiesi’s focus on patient, innovation and agility.
Main Responsibilities

Create and manage a consistent and robust launch process and governance (prelaunch, launch and hypercare post launch)
Establish a standardized launch readiness approach across brands, leverage existing best practices or create new ones (e.g., launch playbook, frameworks, blueprints) and tailor to the needs of Phase 3 assets
Define Key Performance Indicators (leading and lagging), establish reporting dashboards and cadence
Collaborate with Regional Business Partners, establish and coordinate Launch Readiness Review Assessments across launch brands to ensure strategic and tactical plans are reviewed and aligned with leadership
Work with key program/brand stakeholders (Pre-launch Leaders, Global Brand Leads) to ensure completion of launch readiness tasks (e.g., playbook, readiness review)
Integrate launch readiness into existing strategy, brand and financial planning processes and deliverables
Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Transformation Office) to identify and implement key enabling tools (e.g., technology platform if applicable)

Experience Required

7+ years proven experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives in advanced program or project management role within a commercialization environment
Demonstrated success in commercial planning and launching products, including driving effective launch strategy, and identifying and implementing best practices
Experience managing competing priorities and ensuring timely delivery of project tasks, preferably within a product launch
Experience in prelaunch or launch excellence process preferred
Global experience preferred
Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
Exceptional skills with Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Education
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or PMI certification strongly desired

Ability to navigate complexity and reconcile different ways of working to define common processes, combining global strategy and vision with the needs of different cross-functional stakeholders in an international setting
Clear, concise communication skills to convey information effectively to stakeholders at all levels
Able to influence and build strong partnerships with stakeholders of different seniority and functions
Able to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast paced, continuously changing global environment with minimal oversight/direction

Languages
Location
The role can be based within the European Union in countries where Chiesi has a legal entity, with estimated travel approximately at 10% of the time
