Yes Duties and Responsibilities - Carries out experiments as instructed by PI. RA will receive training to be able to perform the techniques required to complete the project. - Monitors inventory of essential lab supplies and orders additional supplies when required. - Prepares solutions, buffers and media. - Gathers, organizes, enters and analyzes data; performs literature searches on computer and retrieves literature from library. - Incorporates new information/techniques into experiments with PIs approval. - Maintains a safe and orderly lab environment. Makes sure lab environment complies with safety regulations. - Performs other and related duties as assigned. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree in related field and zero-one year of related experience. Qualifications - Organizational skills in scientific tasks and documentation. - Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency. - Ability to communicate verbally. - Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner. - Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people. - Ability to analyze and interpret data. - Ability to work as an effective team member. - Ability to organize workflow. - Ability to work on routine jobs. - Ability to interact with internal and external constituents. - Ability to work with animals/human tissues/infectious agents. - Interpersonal Skills. Certificates/Credentials/Licenses - Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet and email applications.
