Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Tax and General Ledger professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing daily operational activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general ledger daily operational activities, including accounts reconciliation and general ledger entries
  • Guarantee an accurate fixed assets register and intercompany reconciliation
  • Perform general ledger/IFRS entries at month/year-end, including accruals and deferred P&L
  • Review balance sheet and profit and loss statements and perform IFRS monthly reporting
  • Assist in providing statutory disclosures
  • Ensure tax compliance, including quarterly/yearly VAT returns and income vendors' statements
  • Help implement accounting software/ERP systems to enhance financial operations
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance standards

Requirements

  • Strong tax and VAT knowledge, including AR, AP, and foreign exchanges
  • Strong analytical skills and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical accounting experience
  • Coaching and/or mentoring skills
  • Microsoft Office proficient user (Excel, D365)

Additional Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar function or related field
  • Italian native
  • English Advanced
