Job Description

The role of the Investment Products Expert is to analyze, manage, develop, and harmonize investment products and related services for ING, working in a cross-functional team to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of investment product/system features.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze needs and align the investment product roadmap to strategic goals.
  • Work on investment product implementation and maintenance, from requirements to IT and business impacts on different applications and processes.
  • Identify customer needs, propose solutions, and work on them with the support of the Squad/Tribe and external stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into IT requirements, providing necessary information for the development phase.
  • Contribute to solving product-related issues, making decisions, and communicating progress clearly.
  • Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Contribute actively to all squad ceremonies (daily stand-up, weekly backlog refinement, sprint plan, retrospective).
  • Be able to build reports for department usage and analyze data provided by other Bank departments.

Requirements and Skills

  • Master's degree (Economics/Engineering as a plus).
  • 3+ years' proven experience in similar roles gained in or with financial services, preferably with a background in project/product management.
  • Customer-focused, data-driven, and result-oriented approach.
  • Fluent English.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results while working in a cross-functional environment.
