About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Buyer to join our Procurement Team at Air Liquide. As an Indirect Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring the deployment of category strategies and executing the sourcing process for local categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with Category Managers
  • Analyze and challenge specifications with requesters to ensure optimal sourcing outcomes
  • Prepare fact-based negotiations and define roles to be played by Air Liquide stakeholders in front of suppliers
  • Drive optimization of tactical and strategic sourcing processes, lead negotiations with selected suppliers, and manage contracting of globally selected suppliers
  • Manage contractual compliance, incidents, and claims
  • Lead SRM activities for relevant suppliers, including supplier strategy, review, and audit
  • Contribute to supplier performance evaluation and animate the supplier qualification and audit process
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal customers and consolidate internal customer feedback on category strategies and supplier performance
  • Consolidate and present sourcing action plans to Management and related Category Managers
  • Conduct periodic surveys to measure internal customer feedback for continuous improvement and undertake corrective actions to improve performance and contract compliance
Requirements
  • Strong background in procurement and proven experience in a similar role as an Indirect Buyer, ideally within the healthcare sector
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Legal Studies
  • Fluent in English (B2-C1 level)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers
  • Problem-solving mindset and solution-oriented
  • High reactivity and proactivity
  • Decision-making skills, strategic thinking, innovation, flexibility, negotiating, and persuasive skills
