Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator 2nd Shift to join our production team at Consolidated Container Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating blow-mold machines, troubleshooting process problems, and performing minor maintenance to ensure the continued operation of our production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blow-mold machines to produce high-quality bottles, adhering to quality control and blow mold process procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment, making adjustments to meet product specifications.
  • Introduction to preventive maintenance, mold, neck, and blow pin changes, as well as grinding excess bottle and material.
  • Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs, as well as daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, and other key metrics.
Requirements
  • Basic mathematical skills and basic computer experience.
  • Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Completion of Altium Machine Operator I training within 90 days of hire date.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
