About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Engineer to join our Service Engineering team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing data from our diverse M&D fleet, including gas turbines, compressors, and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze data from a diverse M&D fleet, including gas turbines, compressors, and electrical equipment on a daily basis.
  • Troubleshoot and effectively communicate technical issues, preparing and reviewing documentation including root cause analysis, anomaly notifications, and reports.
  • Prepare and review periodic reports, validating performance calculations, ensuring data quality for selected customers, and identifying nonconformities.
  • Meet goals for M&D notifications and reports while being available for critical issue resolution on claimed cases and assigned customers.
  • Carry out rotodynamic analysis, interpreting site-specific control software and engineering documents, as well as supporting diagnostic system development and deployment.
  • Propose technology improvements and new analytics, providing remote site support, and assisting with data analysis for engineering and business functions.
Requirements
  • Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical expertise in Machinery Diagnostics, Field Services, or Product Design.
  • Experience with rotating equipment and turbomachinery products.
  • Excellent decision-making and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering documents and have knowledge of performance and vibration analysis.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, global, and demanding environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
