Join Starhotels as a valued member of our Maintenance Team in the role of Repair and Maintenance Attendant. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all engineering and maintenance functions within the hotel are executed effectively and in accordance with our operational standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Addressing inquiries from various departments in a timely manner.
  • Performing maintenance and repair duties, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, and A/C servicing, while prioritizing safety through the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Working closely with the Housekeeping team to prioritize maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Implementing scheduled preventive maintenance programs that align with the needs of the property.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with external contractors.
  • Complying with safety regulations, particularly regarding the storage of hazardous materials.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A solid background in hotel operations, demonstrating extensive industry knowledge.
  • Strong electrical skills and relevant technical qualifications.
  • Plumbing skills and certifications will be advantageous.
  • A flexible approach to working various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and rotational night schedules.
  • A proven ability to proactively solve problems and handle complaints with finesse.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Adaptability in managing diverse work scenarios.
  • A positive attitude towards both independent and collaborative tasks.
Language requirements:
  • Fluency in Italian is essential.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
