Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. As a key member of our team, you will provide first-level and second-level technical support to our end-users, both on-site and remotely. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and responding to service calls, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and documenting all interactions within our ticketing system.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users, responding promptly and effectively to their queries and issues.
- Use our ticketing system to document incidents and service requests, following our standard operating procedures for incident and service management.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for technical issues related to hardware, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 Applications, network connectivity, and Virtual Desktop technologies.
- Install, upgrade, and configure software and hardware as requested, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
- Contribute to our IT Knowledge Base by submitting internal IT process documents and End User 'How-to' Guides to drive a consistent end-user experience and promote self-service.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT management to communicate service provision and outages.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT support field.
- Extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity is required.
- Experience working with executives and C-suite in an IT support capacity is highly valued.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Desktop OS, Active Directory, Network Essentials, SCCM, and Office 2016 is essential.
- Solid understanding of mobile and tablet device troubleshooting and configuration skills (iOS and Android) is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity programs is necessary.
- Basis experience supporting Audio and Video conferencing technologies is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of service desk applications and associated operations is required.
- Fluent language skills in English and Italian are essential.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, time management, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
