Engineering Manager Position

Reckitt is a leading global consumer goods company that offers a wide range of hygiene, health, and nutrition products. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide technical and strategic direction to all technological development activities of the production site. This includes studies, proposals, and implementation of factory investment projects to ensure required production and expected standards. Additionally, the candidate will supervise and ensure the effective operation of the plants, auxiliary services, maintenance, water supply, energy supply, and wastewater treatment, with a focus on efficiency, energy saving, and environmental protection.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the technological level of the factory, existing plants, and new plants.
  • Ensure the timely implementation of new projects.
  • Ensure the testing of new equipment.
  • Work with the Energy and Electrical Manager to develop a plan for implementing the most effective strategy for energy sources and technology to be adopted, aiming to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources.
  • Ensure compliance with Italian health and safety laws and internal policies for accident prevention and has responsibilities related to environmental protection (waste reduction, emissions into the atmosphere, reducing external noise, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of legislation on health, safety at work, and environmental protection and of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
