Job Summary

Samsung is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Operation Supervision:
    • Manage logistics operations with logistics service providers, including production, export, transportation, import, and inventory management.
    • Monitor and control reverse logistics, including technical and commercial returns, concealed damage, scrap, and shipment back.
    • Identify and resolve daily operation issues to maximize sales and operation performance.
    • Provide daily support to grading company and review weekly delivery order portfolios.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics operation KPIs.
    • Conduct scenario-based logistics cost analysis and implement cost-saving actions.
  • Logistics Process Improvement:
    • Review and improve logistics processes, ensuring effective implementation and performance monitoring.
    • Coordinate logistics initiatives and improvement projects driven by European HQ.
    • Evaluate third-party logistics KPI management and support vendor selection.
  • Stock Control:
    • Support internal and external audits with inventory counting and parts management.
    • Control stock levels by product, grading, and in-transit.
    • Compare daily stock discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Operations.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Experience in logistics operations, cost control, and financial analysis or project management.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent Office package skills, especially Excel.
    • Macro and statistical package experience preferred.
    • Good written and spoken English and Italian language skills.
    • Travel required: less than 10%.
