Job Overview

Imerys, a global leader in mineral-based specialty solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Cost and Production Analyst (Industrial Controller) to support its financial function.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial processes and costing principles, as well as deep knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calculating and updating standard costs
  • Responsible for fixed assets and physical stock reconciliation with ERP
  • Updating actual unit costs in ERP for inventory valuation
  • Performing plant production and inventory monthly reconciliation
  • Overseeing accounting ledgers and correcting cost centers/accounts
  • Determining accruals to be booked in ERP
  • Extracting data from ERP, filling energy tabs, mine, and inventory information
  • Reviewing monthly plant and mine cost reports with site manager
  • Providing financial data (standard costs, production costs, etc.) and ad hoc invoice information, quantity produced when required
  • Invoices receptions control & balance in ERP
  • Designing and formalizing internal control procedures for stock (general ledger)
  • Accountable for consistency of plants' standard costs

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English and financial software such as SAP 3R, SAP 4Hana is a plus.
