To enhance our financial operations, we are seeking a dedicated Cost and Production Analyst (Industrial Controller) to join our team.

This role will focus on ensuring accurate standard cost calculations and monitoring at the plant level, providing essential financial data to support site management and accounting functions across major plants in Italy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and update standard costs for production.
  • Manage fixed assets and conduct physical stock reconciliations with ERP systems.
  • Update actual unit costs in ERP for precise inventory valuation.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of plant production and inventory.
  • Oversee accounting ledgers and ensure correct cost center allocations.
  • Determine necessary accruals for booking in ERP.
  • Extract and analyze data from ERP, including energy consumption and inventory metrics.
  • Review monthly cost reports with site management.
  • Provide financial data, including standard and production costs, as well as ad hoc invoice information.
  • Control invoice receptions and ensure balance in ERP systems.
  • Design and formalize internal control procedures for stock management.
  • Ensure consistency in standard costs across all plants.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of industrial processes and costing methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, and relevant regulations.
  • The ability to manage complex financial data effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence with colleagues and external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear information dissemination.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach with a confident and engaging personality.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with financial software such as SAP 3R, SAP 4Hana is advantageous, along with proficiency in Office and Google Suite.

Preferred Background:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or similar positions is required. A bachelor's degree in accounting is essential, while candidates with a master's degree in accounting or finance will be given preference.
