About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Country Data Privacy Officer to join our team at L'Oreal. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, as well as implementing and maintaining effective data privacy policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Privacy Program Management
  • Develop and implement a data privacy program that meets the requirements of the country's data protection laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all data privacy policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with the latest regulations.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Monitor and report on data privacy compliance across the organization.
  • Identify and mitigate data privacy risks, and implement measures to prevent data breaches.
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, Legal, and Marketing, to ensure data privacy compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including data protection authorities and vendors.
Training and Awareness
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand data privacy policies and procedures.
  • Communicate data privacy information to employees and stakeholders through regular updates and awareness campaigns.
Requirements
  • Expert Knowledge
    • Deep understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, including professional certification.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
