Job Title: Localization Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Project Manager to join our team at PeopleCert. As a Localization Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing translation projects from start to finish, coordinating with external Language Service Providers (LSPs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure high-quality translations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create projects in XTM TMS and allocate tasks to selected LSPs and SMEs
  • Coordinate the translation of all content
  • Perform alignments of files, maintain memories, and prepare files for translation
  • Onboard new suppliers
  • Take part in suppliers' briefings
  • Perform quality checks on translated materials
  • Feedback issues as they arise to the Team Manager and relevant requester
  • Ensure administrative tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a translation or localization project manager in the LSP industry
  • Translator qualification or MSc in translation studies is an asset
  • Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently to time and budget
  • Good understanding of CAT tools, MT, and TMS (XTM is an asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English and Italian is required (native-like or C2 level certification desired)
  • Knowledge of Best Practice methodologies is a plus (PRINCE2, Scrum, ITIL, etc.)
  • Proficiency in handling files in multiple formats (MS Office, InDesign, etc) with a particular interest in file engineering
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Able to build successful relationships with external suppliers across the world and ensure tasks are delivered on time
  • Self-starter, proactive, and attention to detail
