Data Platform Strategy and Architecture Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Data Platform Strategy and Architecture Consultant to join our team at Kyndryl. As a key member of our consulting team, you will work closely with clients to design and implement modern data platforms that drive business value and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maturity assessments on data platform architecture and data governance processes based on industry best practices and frameworks.
- Lead data strategy and architecture workshops to gather and formalize requirements, establish a transformation vision, and define architectural principles and adoption guidelines.
- Drive discussion and co-create with clients' stakeholders to define the high-level future state of the data platform architecture and recognize implications at process, skills, and organization levels.
- Perform gap analysis, identify and prioritize transformation initiatives, and support the creation of client business cases and ROI analysis.
- Support technology evaluation, design of project Statements of Work, and sales and go-to-market organization activities.
- 5+ years of IT consulting experience, with 3+ years in Data Management architecture and services.
- Ability to assess and understand customer business challenges and present solutions in business and technical terms.
- Experience in implementing strategies for IT Strategy and Data, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Big Data, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Supply Chain, and related technologies.
- Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, conducting hypotheses-based analysis, creating business cases, evaluating, and presenting solutions.
- Good experience and familiarity with overall data architecture and guiding principles, best practices, and patterns.
- Knowledge of commercial and open-source data management ecosystems.
- Experience with data visualization tools, observability, and APM technologies.
- Certifications in Cloud Hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP) in data architecture, data engineering, data analytics, machine learning, and AI technology architecture.
