Financial Operations Manager Italy

Michael Page - Italia is seeking an ambitious Italian Financial Operations Manager to join their European Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Italian financial operations, including financial reporting, payroll, and tax declarations.

The successful candidate will have continuous contact with operations, accountants, customers, and suppliers to resolve various issues. They will work on weekly/monthly P&L reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and will be a trusted partner to all teams at the core of our business.

The Financial Operations Manager will work closely with the European Finance Manager and external tax consultants to ensure compliance with tax authority requirements, posting overhead invoices and expenses reports, managing cash flow, and executing bank transfers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring cash collection activity
  • Completing month-end closings in accordance with group requirements
  • Administering statutory required documentation
  • Controlling intercompany transactions (creation, review, and settlements)

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business economics, business administration, or similar, and 3-5 years of experience within a multinational company. Prior experience with tax advisor companies would be a plus.
