About the Role

Worldwide Recruitment Energy is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our government affairs team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's policy positions and advocating for our interests in the Italian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze relevant legislation and policy proposals impacting the solar PV and storage sectors.
  • Collaborate with central teams to develop policy positions and lead policy and regulatory changes to support our company's mission.
  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies, coordinating with local needs and pre-agreed positions, including securing meetings and maintaining regular interaction with public and private stakeholders.
  • Support the business team in developing new business opportunities in the region, ensuring excellent connections between our company, grid operators, and public institutions.
  • Build our company's reputation as a solar leader and raise the profile of local teams by creating engaging content and preparing executive briefing documents for both internal and external audiences.
  • Leverage our company's participation in trade associations and build coalitions within the energy and renewable sectors. Manage the work of external resources such as consultants or agencies.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of the solar and renewables sector.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a different cultural environment, both operational and office-based.
  • Demonstrated skills working with leadership; ability to interface with all levels of the organization required.
  • Qualifications: University degree in economics, law, engineering, or a related field.
  • Native Italian speaker with good English language skills.
