At STERIS, we strive to create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science solutions. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in Calcinate, BG.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe operations of the plant and company by developing an effective safety culture and enforcing safety practices in compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Manage customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction in conjunction with senior sales managers.
  • Provide leadership to ensure continuous improvement of business processes and activities in line with STERIS world-class safety objectives and quality management system.
  • Manage and develop a team of 20+ staff, allocate resources, and assign specific duties to achieve predetermined commercial and business objectives.
  • Ensure the business operates within and towards the published STERIS corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability, and One Team One Goal strategies.
  • Apply STERIS values, culture, and ethos in managing the business, its customers, and staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Proven technical capability
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Acute awareness of the importance of safety to the business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of the local business market
