Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the People Excellence strategy to achieve business objectives in the retail function.
  • Support the Talent and Managers in developing and deploying strategic human resources programs and practices to drive greater organizational performance and effectiveness.
  • Guide and support Area Managers and Store Managers in people management and labor law standard respect.
  • Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps, and create a plan to address them using talent management tools and resources.
  • Facilitate, execute, and/or participate in Talent Reviews/Succession Planning roundtables for business partners.
  • Translate business unit strategy and create short and mid-term business unit specific HR initiatives in support of the business strategy.
  • Support the Area Managers in defining a people strategy within the area coherent with the vision of the company.
  • Define recruitment needs in cooperation with the Area Manager and set the proper strategy.
  • Monitor the "climate" on the network and guarantee the maintenance of consistency and fairness within different areas.
  • Lead the communication flows between Area Managers, Stores, and the HR Department.
  • Supervise the respect of the existing policies and coordinate with Area Manager any disciplinary actions required.
  • Support the implementation of business unit specific development strategies.
  • Drive or coordinate the delivery of existing programs or development of new solutions to close gaps and build bench strength.

We are looking for a person with three or four years of experience in HR or a similar role, with experience in leading and managing different people in different areas, and experience in Assessment center and other recruiting tools. English is mandatory.

To be successful in this role and at Sephora, you should have empathy and leadership, capability to deal with ambiguity, team worker and team leader, and resilience.
