Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Consultant to join our Assessment and Targeting Unit (APPFA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing data quality guidance, developing a data quality reliability score, and providing technical support to Country Offices. Your expertise will help enhance food security assessment, data management, and analysis, ultimately contributing to the achievement of our mission.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree in economics, social science, statistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quantitative data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS and Python required, STATA and R an advantage).
- Experience in data management and standardization.
- Quantitative data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of food security indicators and conceptual framework.
- Ability to write analytical reports and present findings.
- Communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
