About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Assistant to join our team at Sephora. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce business losses due to theft, fraud, or operational inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze data related to theft, damage, and inventory loss.
  • Implement and manage security systems, including anti-intrusion systems, anti-shoplifting systems, and video surveillance.
  • Conduct investigations into internal and external theft, damage, and fraud.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve operational procedures and protocols and reduce risks.
  • Train staff on loss and fraud prevention best practices.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports and write investigative reports on incidents and suspicious activities.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement for any legal action or external investigation.
  • Conduct periodic audits of inventories and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Political Science, Security Policy, or Economics.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package, particularly Excel, and SAP.
  • Good knowledge of English and/or French.
  • Security certifications, such as the Certified Loss Prevention Specialist (CLPS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to challenging work environments.
  • Experience in security, loss prevention, or investigations roles, preferably in retail or logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
  • Expertise in using security management software and data analysis tools, such as SAP.
  • Crisis management and problem-solving skills in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of safety and loss prevention regulations.
  • Travel: 25% of the time.
