Job Title: Loss Prevention Assistant

At Sephora, we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze data related to theft, damage, and inventory loss to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and manage security systems, including anti-intrusion systems, anti-shoplifting systems, and video surveillance, to prevent illicit activities.
  • Conduct investigations into internal and external theft, damage, and fraud, and collaborate with teams to improve operational procedures and protocols.
  • Train staff on loss and fraud prevention best practices and create and maintain detailed reports on incidents and suspicious activities.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement for any legal action or external investigation and conduct periodic audits of inventories to ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Political Science, Security Policy, or Economics.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package, particularly Excel, and SAP.
  • Good knowledge of English and/or French.
  • Security certifications, such as Certified Loss Prevention Specialist (CLPS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to adapt to challenging work environments.
  • Experience in security, loss prevention, or investigations roles, preferably in retail or logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
