Our Mission
The EssilorLuxottica Smart Eyewear Lab is a pioneering project in the heart of Milan, where we design the smart-glasses of the future, a new generation of wearables which are capable of autonomous network connection. We work closely with researchers and professors from Politecnico di Milano, top scientists from other universities and MSc and PhD students to develop smart glasses with the integration of new hardware, new algorithms and software.
Job Requirements
We are looking for highly motivated and talented professionals to join EssilorLuxottica Smart Eyewear Lab as junior or senior Principal Investigators, responsible for activities related to a specific research stream. The selected candidates will work in an international environment, in close collaboration with researchers and professors, and focus on the most current and up-to-date challenges related to technological research in the field of AR and smartglasses.
Key Skills
- R&D work experience (both from academy or company work environments)
- Various technical backgrounds as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent
- At least 2/3 years of experience- after PhD - or at least 5 years of experience - after Master's Degree – depending on the specific role, in the field of embedded systems, low power smart sensors, embedded machine learning and signal processing, deep learning, wearable device applications, laser, waveguides, holograms, optical systems design and simulation
- International experience is considered a plus
- English fluent
