Plant and Equipment Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Plant and Equipment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing the Plant and Tools Fleet of a project, ensuring the best availability of the Plant and tools in optimal conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Plant and Tools Fleet, including heavy or specific construction equipment, to enable optimal performance, quality, and health and safety.
- Provide expertise to Installation and Construction Managers, proposing solutions for Plant and Tools considering installation/construction on-site constraints.
- Participate in Construction/Installation core team meetings and report on progress and Quality Cost Delivery (QCD) KPI.
- Ensure Permit of Work, storage areas, and accesses are available and validated with the Customer and/or Authorities.
- Identify critical equipment, consolidate needs, and study rental possibilities.
- Prepare business cases and Capex documents for new investments and manage procurement of new Plant.
- Manage rental contracts and conditions, including transportation documentation.
- Prepare documentations and equipment for local homologation and certification.
- Define service and maintenance processes and QA/QC system, implementing them on site.
- Organize Plant and tools allocation, ensuring all key activities are properly controlled.
- Recruit and manage team members, including P&T technicians, mechanics, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineer diploma or master's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a site manager in construction activities.
- Validated experience in railway Plant and Tools Management.
