Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to become a part of our Engineering Team at Atlas Copco. As a Project Leader, you will be integral to an operational team tasked with overseeing engineering design initiatives in compliance with both national and international regulations, while also adhering to our corporate standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop new projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics, and environmental performance for our clients.
  • Establish timelines and plan each phase of new projects meticulously.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Team Leader and Engineering Manager regarding project progress.
  • Collaborate with various Engineering teams, including R&D, Laboratory, and Electrical and Electronics teams.
  • Utilize CAD software for 2D and 3D design, creating all necessary drawings for new products and updating existing ones.
  • Revise drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), lists, and associated documentation.
  • Prepare user manuals and spare parts documentation.
  • Work alongside other departments throughout the improvement project phases, including Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and Aftermarket.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in design, casting, and machining.
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Specialization in hydraulic engineering.
  • Proficient in CAD design (2D and 3D).
  • Experience with Solidworks is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and collaborative attitude.
  • Fluency in Italian and a good command of English, both spoken and written, is required.
