About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Barry Callebaut. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and developing our business in Sicily, Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the Bapa and Distributors segment.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Bapa and Distributors segment.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales resource management, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong business understanding and market knowledge of the B2B food industry.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Native Italian speaker with fluent English language skills (B2 level).
