We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Technogym. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our BigQuery data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) mechanisms to standardize data fields from multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers, and other technical teams, to inform and guide Technogym's consumer data strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of Technogym's data assets and how they can be used to support Data Science and Engineering activities across the company.
- Set best practices and guidelines for data access and exploration.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
- Strong knowledge in data modeling, data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing.
- Proven experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python or Typescript, and relevant data libraries and frameworks.
- Experience in writing and optimizing efficient SQL queries.
- Experience with Visualization Tools like Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Deployed and operated services in a cloud environment such as GCP or AWS.
- Demonstrated leadership in building data science models from start to finish, including defining a problem statement, exploring approaches, conducting analyses, presenting to stakeholders.
- Prior experience in bioinformatic analysis, medical research or the fitness industry.
